COMMAND SUMMARY.

Home Screen:
Left Selection key, Options: Display menu of command options. 
Right Selection key, Exit: Exit the application. 
Keypad 1 or Enter key, Image Capture: Open interface to take a picture for text recognition. 
Keypad 2, File Explorer: Access saved document and image files to read or delete them. 
Keypad 3, Recent Documents: Access recently viewed documents to read or delete them. 
Keypad 4, Settings: View and change user settings. 
Keypad 5, License Activations: Add licenses for additional languages. 
Keypad 6, Help: Read and navigate the User Guide. 
Keypad 9, About: Get status and version information. 

(Note: Left Selection and Right Selection functions can change when a menu or dialog is displayed.) 


Image Capture Screen:
Left Selection key, Options: Display menu of command options. 
Right Selection key, Back: Return to the previous screen. 
Keypad 1, or Enter key: Capture and Read Take a picture, process the image for text, and read the text. 
Keypad 2, Field of View Report: Obtain a report on how well the camera is positioned. (knfbReader Mobile only).
Keypad 4, Settings: View and change user settings for image capture. 
Keypad 5, New Document: Start a new document if currently set to multi-page documents.
Keypad 7, Color Recognition: Take a picture and report the most prevalent color in the image.
Keypad 0, Recognize U.S. Currency:  Recognize the denomination and orientation of a U.S. Currency bill. (knfbReader Mobile only) 
* key, Home: Return to the Home screen. 


Text Navigation Screen: 
Left Selection key, Options: Display menu of command options. 
Right Selection key, Back: Return to the previous screen. 
Keypad 1, Pause or Resume Reading: Pause reading, or resume from when last paused or interrupted. 
Keypad 2, Beginning of Document: Navigate to the beginning of the document. 
Keypad 3, Settings: View or change settings for text navigation. 
Keypad 4, Translation: Turn translation on or off. 
Keypad 5, Screen Up: Navigate up by a screenful of text. 
Keypad 6, Save Files: Save the text document, image file or both. 
Keypad 7, Spell Current Word: Spell the currently selected word. 
Keypad 8, Screen Down: Navigate down by a screenful of text. 
Keypad 9, Reprocess: the Image Reprocess the image in a new reading format. 
Keypad 0, End of Document: Navigate to the end of the document. 
* key, Home: Return to the Home screen. 


File Explorer Screen:
Left Selection key, Options: Display menu of command options. 
Right Selection key, Back: Navigate to the parent directory. If at the root directory, return to the previous screen. 
Keypad 1, Root: Directory Go to the user’s root directory. 
Keypad 2, Open: Open the selected file. 
Keypad 3, Erase: Erase the selected file. 
* key, Home: Return to the Home screen. 


Recent Documents Screen: 
Left Selection key, Options: Display menu of command options. 
Right Selection key, Back: Return to the previous screen. 
Keypad 2, Open: Open the selected file. 
* key, Home: Return to the Home screen. 


License Activations Screen: 
Left Selection key, Options: Display menu of command options. 
Right Selection key, Back: Return to the previous screen. 
Keypad 5, Additional Languages: Activate additional languages. 
Keypad 9, License Activation: Activate the Reader softwaer.
